Zagłębie Lubin
KGHM Zagłębie Lubin (Polish pronunciation: [zaˈɡwɛmbʲɛ ˈlubin]) is a Polish professional football club based in Lubin, Poland. It was founded on September 10, 1945 as OMTUR Lubin.
History
In 2007 Zagłębie became league champions for a second time (their first title was won in 1991).
The following season Zaglebie was forcibly relegated from the Ekstraklasa (top division) after it was found that their promotion to the Ekstraklasa in the 2004-05 season had been tarnished by match-fixing.[1] In May 2009, the club secured its return to the Polish top division for the 2009-10 season.[2]
